About the position

The Social Media Intern will aid in the graphic design and content creation for all social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. The social media intern will also be responsible for monitoring activity across social media platforms and engaging with communities acting as a social customer service representative. Will report directly to the marketing manager and work closely with lead generation, passing on opportunities that could promote a sales person to follow up.

Term: Fall 2017

 

Responsibilities

  • Social Customer Service: Monitor conversations that could invite action on our part
  • Campaign and Event Monitoring: Monitor keywords and conversations about your campaign or event
  • Crisis Management: Monitor keywords and spikes in conversations that could indicate a crisis
  • Lead Generation: Monitor conversations that could promote a sales person to follow up + complaints about competitors
  • Competitive Marketing: Monitor conversations about your competitors
  • Content Strategy for Publishing: Monitor industry conversations that might inform your content strategy
 

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign
  • Understanding of marketing and communicating with a defined target audience
  • Completed at least 2 years towards a bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Passionate about solar energy and making this world a better place
  • Proficient in Adobe Primer Pro or other movie editing software a plus
  • Customer service experience a plus
