Enterprise Arrives At Its New Hudson Home Aboard The USS Intrepid

Some UGE team members took a lunch break field trip to watch as the space shuttle Enterprise was loaded onto the USS Intrepid’s deck.  Check us out!

The space shuttle, NASA’s original prototype model first produced in the 1970s, arrived today at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, where it will reside for the foreseeable future (and open to the public on July 19th) The museum is housed on and in a retired WWII Aircraft carrier permanently docked on the Hudson River.
